Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish's filmography includes roles such like Heidi in Somersault 2004 Fanny Brawne, Sweet pea in Suckerpunch 2011, Lindy from Limitless 2011, Clara Murphy in RoboCop 2014 and Sarah in Geostorm 2017. She also worked with Martin McDonagh on Seven Psychopaths 2012 as well as Three Billboards in the vicinity of Ebbing Missouri (2017). For the latter Cornish got her debut Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the ensemble. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland as well as The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her father. Ann McDonough played the mother in the film. Her love and the support from her parents led to the decision to pursue acting an easy one for younger Betty Gilpin. When it came time for her to enroll in college she picked Fordham College where she learned how to perfect her craft. Gilpin continued to be a candidate for roles in television and films and also appeared in Off Broadway productions. She landed a guest spot in the network's Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) which was followed by small parts on Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin got mostly TV role-playing roles during the next few years until her breakout moment came in 2013, when she was cast as the main character on Nurse Jackie. In the role of Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared in 34 episodes of the series before Nurse Jackie was cancelled in June of 2015. Gilpin starred as a character in True Story, a thriller with a mystery element.
