Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen, a Vietnamese American businesswoman, lives in Orange County California. I am married to a beautiful man named JP and a frightened dad Henry. A majority of my followers know me via my Instagram @annephung. I share my daily life, highs and lows, as well as all in between. The year 1990 was the time I emigrated to America together with my brother and parents when I turned one and a half. Without my parents' love of dedication and hard work, I probably wouldn't even share my life. In the hope of having a better life I wanted to try my best to please them and was focused on achieving my goals. I had a plan in my life that was to go to university and get a corporate job get married buy the house, and then have kids. I thought that was the definition of success. However, however, life has other plans to show me what success meant. In 2013, I discovered that I didn't like going to work in my company job. The status and the money didn't make me feel happy. I felt like I was wasting time for a paycheck. The passion I have for fitness as well as my desire to socialize with other people led me to discover my dream job as a personal trainer. This year I'll be celebrating my 7th Anniversary. In 2014 I began my own small business. Being an Asian woman in the industry, there are very few. It is my goal to be a positive influencer within the business to offer high-quality coaching that allows people to live a more healthy and happier person by establishing an environment that is sustainable and meets their individual goals and needs. My goal is to encourage others to chase their goals and lead the lives they've always dreamed of. As my career was taking off, I was struck by one of the biggest losses in my entire life to datethat of losing my Mom. To be in Heaven she now rests following an eight-year fight against the disease known as Scleroderma. However, I carry the memory about her each day. Life's lessons are often hidden from us, but they can be extremely beneficial. My loss has impacted my life in many different ways. It is my belief that her passing gave me the chance to start an entirely new chapter. On Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she died. The time was right for her to move on into her new chapter, as well as my opportunity to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life. What I'm experiencing now as I enter my 30s, is an experience of awe and vitality. It feels like I am truly living, and not just existing. My goal in sharing my experience is to show you that you're not the only one. I would like you to be aware that love exists and that therapy is common. Your health is your most valuable asset. There is only one chance to live. I wish you to be the best version of yourself.
